About Cut/Break Magazine

Welcome to ‘Cut/Break Magazine’.

We are a collective of Connecticut creatives, journalists, and curators looking to accurately and thoroughly represent and report on the ever-changing artistic landscape of Connecticut. We saw that the stories of Connecticut artists, particularly the youth, had not been portrayed with enough emphasis in the past, so we decided to change the narrative.

This magazine was holistically created to exemplify the wide-ranging, diverse, and highly accomplished artists of our state. We had constantly heard of the various accomplishments of local artists by word-of-mouth, and concluded that a centralized editorial location was the best medium to represent the artists in the state.

This is our vision of the future, directly to you, in hopes that it will illuminate the greatness the state already possesses.
